I'm a mid-career professional software tester. I am from Huntsville, Alabama.

Work

As a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman, I perform manual and automated software release testing for the Cybersecurity and Heritage Team in the In Flight Interceptor Communications System (IFICS) Data Terminal (IDT) section, working under the Groundbased Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) Contract. I have 10+ years of experience in system testing and quality assurance, with a strong background in testing tactical systems for America's warfighters.

I have a Master of Science degree in Management - Logistics Management, which enables me to synchronize teams for optimum efficiency and effectiveness in delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, which provides me with fundamental knowledge for working with software and networks. I hold a Secret security clearance (renewed 12/2019) and have experience handling TS/SCI classified intelligence products. My mission is to provide transparent and effective quality control processes in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and to deliver software that supports the defense and security of our nation.

About

During my time outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 girls. We take trips to see baseball games, play at Top Golf, take hikes, or go bowling together.

When I'm on my own, I like to get on the air using ham radio, crank wrenches on my Toyota 4WD, maintain my lawn, or play music by guitar, harmonica, or ukulele.
